The black Waterman Exception Night & Day Pen is larger in size with panels alternating between black enamel and etched striped enamel while the Ideal model is without stripes. Both models are enhanced with silver plated or 23K gold-plated appointments and fitted with an 18K medium gold nib. Cartridge/converter fill. Indulge in the decadence of the bayonet mechanism when you refill your ink cartridge. The front section can be removed with one simple twist and then can be perfectly realigns to it's quadratic position with a satisfying click. The Waterman Exception Ballpoint Pen features a twist-action mechanism.
