Aurora 85th Anniversary LE Red Marbeled Resin ST Rollerball Pen

A limited edition to celebrate 85 years of history.

Aurora, the Turin-based company specialized in creating elite writing instruments and luxury goods, celebrates its 85th anniversary in style, with an exclusive “symbolic” pen.

The company that, in close on 100 years of business, has become a byword world-wide for excellent taste and refined Italian craftsmanship, has decided to perpetuate its tradition, reflected in the 75th anniversary and 80th anniversary historical models, of marking the milestones in its history in this exclusive manner.

This collectors’ item limited edition is available in two versions: a marbled red resin fountain pen and rollerball pen and a white mother-of-pearl fountain pen.

Both versions are distinguished by their oval-shaped head with laidin mosaic-type Aurora logo. The Aurora caption is in grey mother-of-pearl; the background is made of red coral paste and the transparent lens is made of rock crystal. The shape of the head recalls that of the Aurora logo: a distinguishing sign that guarantees that these pens are recognized everywhere.

The ring of the cap, on which the serial number is engraved to certify that each pen is unique, features floral motifs that recall the first Aurora models. The same designs are also reflected on the bottom and on the precious jewel clip, also enhanced with the inscription 85°.

In the first collection, the cap and the barrel of the pen are made of marbled red resin with solid silver trims. The finely-engraved nib of the fountain pen is made of rhodium-treated solid gold. The fountain pen is available in 1919 numbered items and the rollerball pen in 999.

These high prestige writing instruments are showcased in a splendid packaging, made in this case of red and silver lacquered wood, with the “85th anniversary” symbol and stylized floral motifs. The inside is lined with tasteful grey velvet that highlights the iridescent nuances of the mother-of-pearl and the shades of the red resin and stresses the exquisite styling and timeless elegance of these writing instruments.
