The Ecridor pencil from Caran d'Ache owe their success to their classic hexagonal design, robust construction and legendary reliability. Now this much-loved range includes a fountain pen and a rollerball/fiber-tipped pen as well as a ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil. The bodies of the pencils are made of brass with 10-micron silver plating, or with 18Kt gold-plating and a rhodium finish. The Caran d'Ache Ecridor is a living legend. The first mechanical pencils saw the light of day in the 1930s, and the first ballpoint pen was produced in 1953. Smart in looks, durable in performance, the Ecridor is a faithful daily companion.
