I bought this pen A while ago with a converter, and it is a great pen. It is limited edition, so replacement parts are hard to find for the barrel and cap, but the LamyUSA.com website has the different nib units under replacement parts for the AL-Star model pens. At around $20, it's not cheap, so get the nib you want the FIRST time!
