The Platinum Night & Day is larger in size with panels alternating between black enamel and etched striped enamel while the Ideal model is without stripes. Both models are enhanced with silver plated or 23K gold-plated appointments and fitted with an 18K medium gold nib. Cartridge/converter fill.
